The hotel is located at a quieter spot on the lake. Walking distance 10 minutes to town center, 20 minutes walk from ADO. Everything worked in the room, it was spacious and attractively decorated. I had a garden view of the nice pool plus a peacock..

The location was excellent, near the lake and next to the plaza. The bed was comfortable and the a/c worked well. Staff was very nice and the lobby had tables where we could sit and play cards. They sold nice cold beer in the lobby too! Our room had a huge old bathtub!

La Cabana del Lago was everything we expected. It was absolutely lovely to wake up to such a beautiful view of Lake Catemaco and the family just made our stay as comfortable and as lovely as anyone could ever expect! Mrs. Lina Bravo Murcia, her husband, her granddaughter Samantha, and her son Alberto were an absolute joy to spend time with. They were generous with their time and stories! We are so grateful! Also, they prepared dinner for us even though the restaurant was technically closed. It was nice to have a warm meal after a long drive from Orizaba! Checkout was super easy and we were able to say our final goodbyes and take pictures with the family!
