Located in Celestún, 6.2 mi from Parque Natural Rio Celestun, Playa 55 beach escape - adults only property features adult-only accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, and a... A wonderful place with a magnific seaside (the best in Yucatan). Our room was clean, well organized, at the ground floor directly connected to the beach! Services are over the expectations (modern swimming pool, perfect arrangements on the beach, and even a cooler box for our own bears). The minibar is well equipped with some juices and an American coffee machine (always refilled with coffee). All of this thing are collateral to Nico and Jeff's attentions : perfect managers, extremely caring and always helpfully. For sure we will come back and we'll recommend to friends and family!

Casa de Celeste Vida is set 0.8 mi from Celestun and features free bikes and barbecue facilities. With a garden, the property also has a terrace. Casa de Celeste Vida is absolutely wonderful in every way. Location, features, helpfulness, cleanliness, ambiance, everything. Karen, Kenn, and Wanda were so helpful … far above and beyond most. We had to change our travel plans, and they made sure we got all the help we needed. Celestún itself is amazing, and Casa de Celeste Vida is the perfect spot from which to enjoy all it has to offer. My family especially enjoyed the very well appointed outdoor kitchen and the paddle boards. We also enjoyed the lending library they maintain.

Located in Celestún, 6 miles from Parque Natural Rio Celestun, Castillito Kin Nah has accommodations with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. We felt very welcome at the property, Sandra who is the owner greeted us upon arrival and gave us all the relevant information that we needed (and she even had a spare battery charger for my camera which I forgot!). Super comfortable bed, the room is lovely and there’s a pool and direct access to the beach from the property. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Featuring a swimming pool, a garden, a private beach area and views of the garden, Casa BreMar 3097 - Only adults is located in Celestún and provides accommodations with free WiFi. The photos don't it justice - it's right on the ocean and you can watch pelicans swooping all day. 15mins walk to Celustun. 8 year olds riding past the bars on motorbikes (quite competantly). She has done the rooms really nicely - newly done like a good Airbnb. Poolside covered seats really good when it's hot (always). Nice break between 2 stays in merida.

Celestun is a very quiet town in the biosphere, ideal for travelers who want to enjoy unspoiled natural beauty and be away from hordes of tourists. The beaches are pristine, the sea is clean, and the weather is perfect.
Celestun is a real Mexican town with mercado and cute main plaza ...some very nice restaurants on the sand at beach side, rather like being at a party! .EXCELLENT SEAFOOD ..There are pockets of rather dire poverty on the outskirts of town on the way to the Flamingo Preserve ...which you should do ....you can pay a moto taxi 100 pesos to take you out there, its a Gulf beach so that means little waves , so don't expect crashing surf! also fishing boats anchor in the same area as swimmers ,but no bother...great shelling and just strolling beach...water is not Caribbean crystal clear , but pleasant enough.... great safe beach for kids ...this what Acapulco must have been like a very long time ago!
Little town close to Merida. The beach is just wonderful and the people in town are very friendly and kind. The flamingo tour is worthwhile from the river rather than the beach. I also did a tour in mototaxi and it was very nice
Make this an early day trip to see the flamingoes and get lunch on the beach but skip the overnight stay. The town is very sleepy and not much happening at night, very few restaurants open for dinner.
The uncrowded and beautiful beaches, most of the time we were the only ones on it. More people on the beach when you got close to town where the restaurants are. We had a couple days of power outage so didn't get to see much of the shops in town as they were closed. Restaurants were open and able to feed us but closed around 6pm. We had some fabulous seafood - blue crab and coconut shrimp, fish. Puttputt's were around for transportation for a small cost 30 pesos's Ken at Casa de Celeste Vida arranged a boat to pick up all the guests at the hotel to go see the Flamingo's and bring us back, it was fantastic. Wanda arranged for the housekeeper's daughter to come over with shell windchimes and starfish she made and was selling. The only thing i would maybe do different would be to pick up a few groceries in Merida before coming to Celestun for lunches and a few snacks.
Very very quiet town. Not much to do. The beach restaurants in our sector closed at sundown so in November thats 5h30/6pm. There is one other restaurant in the square for supper but it was nothing to rave about. So we would have a nice seafood/fish lunch ON THE BEACH and have a light super/snack. Their is basically nothing happening in the evening. Nice quiet place to relax no stress. The fruit and veggie market was nice and huge! They also have little food stands at the entrance if you want to eat something a little more local. Very close the Jose's kayak tours to see the mangrooves up close and the wildlife and flamingos! Max 10min. Nice little place for non party people!

Sandra welcomed us when we arrived and was an exceptional host throughout. She's warm and gregarious, had lots of local tips and recommended a great boat pilot for some work we needed to do. The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful — the photos don't do justice at all to the care and charm of the place. The pool and beach are amazing, each room has its own ocean-facing balcony (a perfect place to watch the incredible sunsets) and overall, the hotel was a perfect home away from home for our stay.
This is a nice, budget hotel right on the beach. it’s close to the center of town so it’s easy to walk to the few restaurants in town and walk to the bus. it’s clean and in good shape. it’s not fancy but does the job. staff was helpful and put me in touch with a great canoe tour of the mangroves to see flamingos.
Everything about the hotel and the town of Celestun is great. The rooms are very comfortable with a gorgeous view of the beach and the Gulf. The owners are super friendly and everything is very well-managed. It is just a short walk to tons of great restaurants as well. Highly recommend!
Celestún
Very basic hotel, but close to the seaside. The hygiene was average, although the beds were pretty alright. The hotel is fine if you want to stay for one night in a cheap place, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here for a longer period.
Celestún
It is, i think, the the most beautiful property in Celestun. My jaw dropped when we arrived there. It is perfectly maintained and beautifully decorated. The owners were just so friendly and helpful.
Good hotel very basic customer service comparing to other places we stayed on Mexico, yet the room and kitchenette very nice and clean Beach with great sunsets 1 min walk away
