villas Ixchel is in the heart of Chiquila and truly submersed in the local culture. The Villa is tucked away, as soon as you enter, it’s like a quiet sanctuary. Orlando was incredibly hospitable and also an incredibly talented painter. The Villa features many pieces of his stunning artwork. We highly recommend and will absolutely return to the property, if ever visiting the area again.

The location was nice close to the pier. The price of the room. Good communication through the app and free parking. (Even though they told us that the place we parked the car was ok but actually was private property - their parking was a bit further). Breakfast was nice

The rooms were very spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Pool area and all the palm trees lining the walkways were really great! The staff was very helpful and nice, especially Eva!

Everything! The place is beautiful. The room is nice and clean. The common areas are big and the view is stunning. You can see the sunset from the roof. Almost in front of the beach and close enough to walk to the center, but also peaceful at night. It's the perfect place to stay in Holbox. Also that part of the beach is quiet and clean.

A beautiful slice of heaven, The pool is a very nice way to cool down after a day of exploring, Can walk to the bioluminescence lagoon, Out of the main town so you avoid the noise, it is about a 15min into town but you have a beautiful beach to walk along to get to town, no complaints about that. Staff were so lovely. We’ll come back here next time!!

The location is probably the most underrated in the whole island, the beach is all for you and the room is fabulous. Consider that the property itself it’s like a house, so it’s a nice feeling.
