While the resort is indeed in need of some TLC, the location and basic rooms and facilities suited us fine. Free breakfast was a bonus and we loved being away from the crowded areas around Long and Redang Beaches, but close enough to enjoy the bars and restaurants. Sunrises were gorgeous.
