A very decent room close to a train station close to Amsterdam, for a very fair price. The hotel is clean and modern. You just walk to the train station, and from there it's a brief ride to Amsterdam. The room is not very big, but comfortable with a nice bath room. The reception is friendly and kind.

The room was pretty and the area was really beautiful

We loved the location and the neighbourhood — it’s quiet, charming, and just a short walk from the famous windmills. The apartment was spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It’s also conveniently close to the train station, only about 15–20 minutes from Amsterdam, which made exploring super easy. The owners were extremely welcoming and open — they helped us a lot and made our stay feel very warm and personal.

The location, and the staff very friendly

Breakfast was amazing. To be honest, it was plentiful and we was able to make a few sandwiches with it for the day ahead. Never to much trouble for our host. Also the host is a guide so well worth asking for tips on what to see.

Everything about the stay was excellent. The location is beautiful and peaceful, right by the water, which made the experience very relaxing. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always available when needed. Overall, the atmosphere was calm and perfect for a family stay.

Location via bike path from the hotel to the windmills was short, fun, and fabulous. We rented three bikes right from the hotel. The room was clean, comfy, and very spacious and the host was very informative and friendly. A great stay close to the windmill village.

Did not have breakfast. Had a burger and it was delicious

The room was spacious, soundproof, clean, brand new and well equipped and had a fine balcony overlooking the golf court; there was a 24h self service shop in the hall next to the reception with food and drinks and last but not least, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Love the location love the building rooms are clean and comfortable

Great, renovated room! Jacuzzi is perfect!

The hotel manager Christian was exceptional. He made my stay very comfortable and will definitely book here again. Highly recommend

Very convenient for our visit to the area.

Excellent location! It's very convenient staying at Zaan Hotel. Being very close to Amsterdam (10-minute train ride to Amsterdam) makes it an excellent choice to relax and recharge in after a day of exploring. They clean your room every day and provide clean towels even when not requested. Beautiful hotel lobby. Room is huge.

Great value nearby Amsterdam.. or airport 2 or 3 sops on the train which is nearly next to the hotel.. Doe le check your booking. Com if city tax and Vat are included otherwise you have to pay it separately upon arrival

Perfect location, super friendly staff and very clean

I likes the natural surroundings. The staff was friendly and helpful

The location and accessibility was convenient. The room was clean and neat.

Clean Comfortable Beautiful place

The room was fine, but it was not clear when I booked this that it was a self check in. Relatively quiet for a place above a bar, but I was there on a Tuesday and Wednesday so, grains of salt.

Great location, great design of the hotel. The wellness facilities were great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.
