Stayed here for 1 night when our flight home was cancelled due to the travel chaos in Sept '26. The staff were all lovely and welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. The bedroom was really clean and comfortable.

Very good locations for both of the hotels, the one in the city center and the one in the airport, just in case you have a very early flight. The staff is friendly and helpful. You have lots of food options around the hotel and very close to the old harbour if you are in for some sightseeing.

Heimen Hotel in Bergen provides a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort, situated just steps away from the iconic Bryggen wharf and the bustling Fish Market. The rooms are elegantly designed with a warm, cozy atmosphere that reflects classic Norwegian hospitality, making it a peaceful sanctuary after a day of exploring the city. Guests consistently praise the hotel for its exceptional breakfast buffet, which features a wide variety of fresh, local delicacies. With its central location, friendly staff, and proximity to the Fløibanen funicular, it serves as an ideal base for travelers seeking both convenience and a touch of traditional Bergen character.

The property is centrally located for easy walking to Bryggen, dining, entertainment, sights all around the old town, and the Christmas Market. Amenities are above expectations and well placed. Everything was clean and fresh. The lobby offers handy kiosks for needs from local parking to umbrellas.

The location is very convenient for visiting the city. We came by ferry and the hotel was 3 min walk from the ferry terminal and very close to the city center and all turistic objectives.

it’s worth the price, everything was perfect: location, facilities, services, hotel staff are all nice and very helpful. Highly recommended!

Great property that is conveniently located just across the Bergen Harbour. All the sights are within short walking distance. The room is spacious and had a good view of the harbour. Room size is significantly bigger than the usual in Europe. It was also very clean. Breakfast was also good with plenty of option for hot and cold items. On check out day, since our flight was still at 8pm which is way after the check out time, the hotel stored our luggage without any issue or fees while we went for our fjord cruise. After our cruise and after walking around the city, we stayed a bit more in the lobby before heading to the airport and the hotel has a self-service free coffee and tea available in the lobby for guests like us which is a very nice touch. Overall really great value for money. Will highly recommend for anyone staying in Bergen.

Very good breakfast buffet and location close to light-rail to airport and inner-city sights.

Room was spacious with amazing view of the Bryggen wharf area. Room had all the utilities and amenities available. Very clean. Location was great, walkable to everything. Breakfast was nice, had wide variety of options and great selection of cheese and cold cuts.

Perfect location, incredible breakfast. Nice hotel

The room was great and quiet, reception was extremely helpful with our late arrival due to circumstances beyond our control i.e. luggage was lost by Singapore Air and SAS. Breakfast was a triumph.

The staff, especially Tom and Aurora, were very hospitable and helpful! The hotel is in a gorgeous location. The rooms were very nice, the restaurant was excellent, and it was clean and well maintained. It’s definitely worth paying a little bit more for it!

It located in a beautiful and quiet area, away from the hectic tourist attraction, but 5 minutes walk to important sightseeings/ buses/ subway to the airport. Hosts were really friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The room window, although small, had a beautiful view to the harbor.

Comfortable, attractive room. Exceptional breakfast. Great location in the Bryggen Wharf District, next to the Fortress. Highly accessible by public transport. Complementary coffee and tea are available in the nicely furnished lounge. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Right on the Main Street in Bergen. Beautiful location and steps from many shops and restaurants.

Very good location. Beautiful hotel. Very good breakfast! It is more likely as a hotel boutique.
