You can find delicious food everywhere, whatever you want, and people are very nice. Of the 3 medieval Durbar Squares I visited (Patan, Kathmandu and Bhaktapur), I was most impressed by Patan's. Maybe because it was so easily accessible to my lodging (I was able to walk there twice), and the smallest of the three; or very possibly due to its being my introduction to the stunning architecture of the Newar culture and the history of Hinduism & Buddhism in Nepal. I recommend a full day to see the temples and do the museum justice; a guide is definitely a plus, to get the most out of your visit.Guest review byLesley - 10.0
