We had a fantastic stay at Mt Cook View Motel! The location is ideal, with beautiful views of the snowy mountains and perfect weather to enjoy them. The owner was incredibly amiable, going above and beyond by preparing our room in advance—he even turned on the heater and lights to welcome us, making it feel cozy right from the start. We appreciated the flexibility with check-in and check-out times, which made our stay even more relaxing. The room was spacious and well-equipped with a heater and an electric blanket, perfect for the chilly evenings. Parking was a breeze, right in front of our room. The owner also suggested a great spot to visit nearby, which really made our trip memorable. Everything!...with a very special mention for the hosts, Trish and Collin, two amazing people with some engaging and picturesque stories to tell. Thank you both for a wonderful stay! Loved the scrumptious breakfasts that were taken in an almost family-like atmosphere, together with the hosts.

The room and kitchen are spacious and the owner has a very cute dog. Three minutes walk to the firefly trail. Because of my negligence I forgot my stuff in the backpacker, after contacting the owner he sent it to me, thank you very much for this backpacker!
