Combining history and Alentejo tradition with a modern concept, the recently and fully refurbished The Noble House offers a central location in Évora old town, 2 minutes’ walking from the Roman Temple... Stunning house. Very beautiful
Housed in a 16th-century palace, this 5-star boutique hotel features a beautiful chapel and dome ceilings. Overlooking the aqueducts of Évora, it has an extensive spa with an outdoor pool. Loved the building, the room, the view, the walk out balcony, the underground parking, pool, BREAKFAST!!! It truly was a very romantic place. Good location too. Not too far off the beaten path.
Surrounded by 80 0 ft² of beautiful gardens, this 5-star hotel is 2.5 mi from Évora city center and housed in a renovated 15th-century convent. It offers a piano bar and free parking. Top 5 of the best places we have ever stayed in over 54 countries! It was so unique and beautifully decorated, yet authentic. Wonderful church to visit inside the convent, different passageways and courtyards (cloisters), extensive gardens with historic buildings such as the donkey run well that watered the fields. An olive tree that is over 1100 years old and is still producing olives contributes to the convent’s own olive oil which is delicious and served aling with their own breads and wines at meals. Paula gave a phenomenal massage with a lavender seed and olive oil scrub. I loved being able to see and eat in the former kitchen! The Convento Espinheiro has crafted an incredible space with the perfect mix of historic and modern. A thank you must go to the wonderful staff.

In addition to 2 outdoor pools, the Evora Hotel is surrounded by landscaped grounds and offers a heated indoor pool and health club on the edge of Évora, along the N114. The food was good and staff were very helpful

All the tourist attractions are actually just walking distance. I love the history ancient structures specially the churches.my favorite is the roman temple ruins.very surprising to see that.we ate at a Chinese restaurant.lovely place friendly owners.
A charming historical town with friendly people. Lots of sights and good restaurants. The Chapel of Bones was a meaningful place for reflection. Safe to walk at night. A good starting point to explore other towns in the Alentejo.
We loved the town of Evora. At first we were only trying to find a place to stay on the way from Lisbon to the Rota beach, but this place captured our hearts, and we stayed a couple of nights. There is a restaurant inside the wall and upward, past the square. IT is nestled among the trees on a stone patio....Although it has marvelous food, we most enjoyed the ambiance and the chance to sit and chat as long as we liked! The wine was fabulous!
Evora is a fascinating historic town, and would be a good spot to have as a ‘home base’ for a few days to explore further afield. There are lots of restaurants and sites. Locals people are friendly and helpful. We would recommend the museum in Evora that has informative descriptions (in English) about the Roman History in the area.
I did a wine tasting tour that including wine stomping, tasting from winemakers office & directly from the barrels as well as from the bottles at Casa Rivali approx 17kms, which I found at the tourist info centre. Fabulous experience to do this obviously only at harvesting, but a great winery to do tastings all year round I’m sure. Evora old town is perfect to spend 3/4 of a day exploring wandering around walking. Don’t drive up, park at parking spots at the base.
Lovely town with TONS of history. Walk around the whole city, lots of gems not on the main tourist streets. You can drive there but I recommend parking your car and walking, the city is not that big. We only had one day but I recommend a day and a half or two at least. Enjoy!!! I sure did and hope to return someday.

The location was perfect and Rue our host was available immediately when we were ready to check in or had any questions. He was also so kind, relaxed and added no pressure during our stay. The beds were very comfortable and cozy with the blankets that were provided. The apartment is decorated beautifully and very quaint, it met all our needs of a group of 5 friends traveling. It was my favorite apartment of the 8th one we experienced in our travel of Portugal and Spain. If ever in the area would definitely stay again.

Simply a wonderful host and place! Quiet with everything you need! I loved the terrace and the kitchen! It was a very last minute booking and even if I arrived early, I was really welcoming. Unfortunately I cannot comment the breakfast, I had to leave before. If you are in Evora for a night (or more), this is where you have to go. You will feel like at home! Highly recommended! Foi um prazer conversar com você Telma em uma mistura de idiomas. Você coloca o sol na minha viagem. Obrigado! :)

The apartment is very clean and located in a quiet alley. Luisa is a very nice and considerate owner. She prepared coffee capsules, hot chocolate and different tea and all facilities in the apartment are working well. The details are well done in the shower room. Luisa helped me booking a taxi which took us to the bus terminal on a rainy day. Evora is a charming city and I will definitely come back and choose this apartment again.

The small boutique hotel was by far the most beautiful and comfortable place I have ever stayed. A very recent renovation and high end furnishings have restored this historic gem in the college area of Evora. The breakfast ,cooked to order, was served in elegant style in their beautiful dining room complete with fine linens. I would gladly live at Casas do Templo!

This was evidently our best hotel during our round trip in Portugal (out of 6)! Beautiful building, renovated from its original state from the 17th century with much care, considering the expectations of a 21st century traveler. Excellent breakfast on the terrace, very helpful staff and a very comfortable room with a large queen size bed.

The welcome from staff was really nice and friendly. The room was slightly small, but there is very nice terrace and living room, you can use. It was our 4th accommodation in Portugal on our trip and this was the best one. Evora is beautiful. Book 2 nights instead of 1.
