The room was very nice and the hotel and restaurant were elegant. We had dinner and breakfast, and both were exceptionally good. The two men who ran the place did not speak English but still managed to convey the very most welcoming and helpful attitudes.

The people are very kind. We arrived after lunch, and yet they still offered us food. It’s a beautiful place! For dinner, the grandmother cooked us the most delicious traditional Portuguese chicken dish on the Camino. Everything was fantastic. You won’t regret staying here.

Had the best stay at Terra Rosa, a beautifully serene winery / country home tucked into northern Portugal. The rooms were thoughtfully designed, the breakfasts were lovely, and of course, the pool. Every morning, I went for a run through the vineyard too and it was so invigorating. The staff was incredibly helpful with recommendations, meals, and anything we needed for our ten month old son.
