We’ve been treated as family members by the staff (human and pet, more on that further down).
Suzana made the most amazing snacks for us!
There were days we didn’t went to lunch out and we simply bought some salads on the market and asked for the utensils. We were told to make use of everything and anything we needed.
They have also some bicycles to use and go around town as needed.
Then even if you’re not won over by the people, there’s “Chico” the resident rescued cat that strolls around the place. He’s very social and friendly and it will melt your heart!
It’s definitely a place to return to, no doubt about it in my mind.

CanadaVery comfortable. Beds were awesome. Everything was newly renovated. Great shower and water pressure. Lots of towels and sheets were very nice. The property was so relaxing. Can’t wait until they are done building the pool. We will be back!

This is a small town, where there is not much to do in the...
This is a small town, where there is not much to do in the town itself. We stopped there because it is part of our Vicentina Walk trip. We enjoyed the nature and the woods around the town while hiking up to the hills. It was worth mentioned that the little cafe at the entrance of the local market hall serves good breakfast and sandwiches. I like their service and outdoor area too! I also liked the black pork of Alentejo, very tasty.

Amazing place to rest and relax! Very quiet and comfortable. The host, Mr. José is one of the kindest person I’ve ever met, he tries to make you feel at home. Amazing breakfast with an amazing orange juice. We had access to the kitchen where we could cook to ourselves, get coffee or drinks. Pet friendly. Room was very clean, absolute peace. Also, they let you charge your electric car. I’ll definitely be back. thanks again José for the hospitality.

Just an amazing spot to stay for some days or weeks in São Luis. The studio is super beautiful, super clean, and extremely confortable (great bed and pillows). Everything just went perfect and you can feel all the peace of the countryside surrounding the house. Anat was super nice and all the time she was available if we needed. The decoration of the studio was incredible and even in our first day Anat gave us some tomatoes and basil from their backyard. I deeply recomend this studio. Just love it!

Idyllic location right next to Sao Luis. A lovely set of rooms located in the hills with farms around. Not too many guests meaning very peaceful and use of the pool all day. The fresh orange juice was great, as many of the reviews have noted. Jose was the most relaxed Portuguese man. Incredible value. Powerful shower. Super flexible check in and check out. Feel at home there and not a guest just a resident in this spot of paradise.

Beautiful rural location within 5 minutes drive of Sao Luis and a great base to explore the wider area. I would recommend getting a car to explore. However I could easily spend days and days at MOBA just relaxing and enjoying the peace. The owners are incredibly friendly and make it feel like a home from home.

A fine accommodation near the walking route Caminho Historico. The room and shower were spacious and clean. And a there is a nice seating area outside. No breakfast offered, but there are several locations to eat close to the hotel.

The rural location, about a 1km walk from central Sao Luis was ok and there are some nice views from the pool area and at breakfast. We received a warm welcome and all the staff that we came across were pleasant and friendly.
