We really liked this hotel. Our room was a good size with a kitchenette. The bed was large and very comfortable. We were on the 8th floor and had amazing views over the old town and harbour. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is being renovated so there was some noise during the day but it did not bother us. The breakfast was okay, lots of variety of fruits, cereals, breads and pastries, as well as hot food, even though it wasn't very hot. We dined at their restaurant on the first night we were there and it happened to be their first night of operation for guests. The food was nice and reasonably priced, just the veggies were cold. But I'm sure everything will improve.
Set beside a green area in a tranquil residential area of Sines, this charming whitewashed hotel features an outdoor pool and a garden with a gym. The entire property has free Wi-Fi.

The actual town was quite nice but the area is very industrial so vast container vessels dominated the beach/sea view. There was also an enormous power station....neither of these were visible on the hotel website photos.

By the beach, peaceful and one of the best service we could ask for. We requested our vegetarian meals and they went out of their way to accommodate, they kept asking for our suggestions, the chef went out to the store to find something to prepare for us.. We extended our stay as we were very pleased with the hotel, its service and excellent location. Sines is a lovely small town, a good break during a whirlwind 3 weeks. Run by locals which is a big plus and they would relate stories about the beautiful place.

The view for our hotel room. was fantastic. the price point of our hotel along with the accommodations were very nice. The hotel wifi was spotty. Hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel does not offer parking, so it can be a challenge to find a parking spot near the hotel. I would recommend staying in Sines as an overnight stop at most.

Just 2h30 from Lisboa by bus, Sines is a hidden Jewel in Portugal. The landscapes are stunning and so many amazing beaches nearby. Even though I had no car to travel around I manage to take a bus to Porto Covo and spent the afternoon there. Also, you can rent a bike to visit the beaches close to Sines.
There are plenty of restaurants in the city and also big supermarkets.
I do recommend the "Adega de Sines" and "Padaria Dom Vasco" for a really good lunch.

Sines is great, if you stay over for the festival FMM.
Sines is great, if you stay over for the festival FMM. It has gorgeous beaches, especially towards Porto Covo, which you shouldn't miss out, going for a hike along the sea on the rota Vincentina. If you like fish, than this is your place, I recommend the restaurant Estrela do Norte at the north beach!
Nine years ago I was staying in the same charming hotel right in the middle of the old town. At that time the place seriously required renovation, without losing its charm and outstanding view of the bay and hospitality. Nowadays everything is up-to-date, including USB power sockets. Also a roof terrace with an extra kick to the view has been installed.
