It is hard to summarize everything I enjoyed about the hotel in just 2 or 3 sentences :) Upon arrival, we were greeted with one of the most delicious mango juices that I have ever tasted, along with smiles and hellos from all of the staff. THEN - I couldn't believe it - one of my friends mentioned that it was my birthday the next day. When my friend and I were brought to our room, we were told we had been upgraded to the luxury suite to help celebrate. The room was gorgeous. There were a few cultural/traditional decorations, but it was very modern (and there was a lot of natural lighting with the large window). The bathroom is worthy of its own review as well. It was beautiful and you could tell the thoughtfulness put into its design. Unfortunately I did not make time to use the bathtub, but the shower was amazing. The next highlight was the restaurant area (with a beautiful pool in the center of it). Again, my loss for not making the time to take a dip, but I certainly made sure to have every breakfast - and bite of it, for that matter. The breakfast was included in our stay. Usually I expect a satisfactory meal that is more utilitarian than enjoyable. I couldn't believe how delicious everything was. Honestly, my favorite meals of the trip. If I remember correctly, the chef did his studies in Dubai; I was very impressed. The breakfast was three courses - you start with a delicious coffee or latte, fruits, and then come the main courses. You have to try the pineapple jam! Check out was a sad moment for me because I did not physically want to leave! But alas, my flight and work the next day awaited. The host was very gracious and allowed for a later check out given the late departure time of my flight, and of course, they allowed us to keep our bags there while we took one more trip into the city. As we were leaving, they gave us a special gift that they provide to all guests.

The Hotel provided us with one of the best buffet breakfasts one can think of even in Western countries. If you ever have to stay in this hotel please don't forget to take advantage of the breakfast. You will love it! The two ladies in charge of breakfast, Betty and Clementine were very professional, excellent customer service qualities, they were always ready to help and even took time to explain the menu contents to visitors. The Hotel has the best Lunch and Dinner menu you can think of in Kigali, the menu has different varieties and they are not expensive. The room we stayed in had a mountain view, even though it was an old room but it was very clean. They had plans to renovate the room soon. 2000 Hotel is strategically located in Downtown Kigali with easy access to everything you can think of, restaurants, transportation, shops and malls. We want to appreciate Betty and Clementine in the Bamboo restaurant as well as Adeline, Keza, Phiono, Moses and Nancy in the reception for making our 12-day vacation in Kigali a memorable one.

I had an amazing stay at this B&B! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was freshly made and absolutely delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and relaxing getaway!

Upon arrival I was immediately upgraded as the hotel was not full, which was really appreciated. Very spacious and clean room with modern bathroom. Slept very well and woke to the sounds of birds singing in the garden. Had a very generous breakfast included with the room and sat in the huge green garden enjoying the natural setting. Service was very attentive and the staff friendly. They also have a nice library of interesting books to browse through. Highly recommended and great value for money.

I had a good time at the downtown market and Fezenda Sengha where there are many thrilling games. The zipline jump was very exciting. I will definitely like to visit again.

    The building is nice.

    The building is nice. The problem is the facilities for example breakfast was included on my booking and they refused to give me breakfast saying that they don’t give breakfast. Other point is the washing machine. Your place is nice and cheap enough for you to remove the things you don’t offer and still have clients.

    Great location. Near several restaurants. Shopping centre is about a kilometre away. Churches also near by. Not far from the city centre. The Host is very helpful and assisted me to get car hire, food and information about Kigali. Thanks too for the Kola nuts, highly appreciated. They can get Naija meals/ snacks from a near-by restaurant. The staff are also friendly and helpful. Meals can be cooked for you at an extra charge, there is a stay in friendly caretaker who doubles as the cook. Overall, I had a great stay.

    It's a good place. The location is good - 15 minutes by walk to City Centre, but the taxis don't know where it is (you need to use navigation). There is a very good Dubai restaurant & spa in 5 minutes from Guesthouse. The area is building, but it's safe. There is a good kitchen you can use, even breakfast was included (but don't expect much), the room was good, the stuff was nice people.
