This is a very rural, very quiet island.
This is a very rural, very quiet island. There are no big developments, no nightlife, and not a lot to do except relax. We really only left our resort to go on day trips via boat (island hopping, snorkeling, etc). It's beautiful, but rough around the edges and about as different from The White Lotus as you can get. Great island to be on.

THE BEST PLACE WE HAVE STAYED IN THAILAND!! The owner and his family were so friendly and kind and could not help us enough. We hired a motorbike which was extremely well looked after and we were given some fuel too. There were laundry facilities for a small fee and complimentary water and coffee. The Pod we stayed in was immaculate and so wel built by the owner himself. A relaxing place that is more small scaled than big resorts. That makes a huge difference. All the guests I saw seem to really enjoy their stay. The islands hopping trip was awesome. The pilot of the boat was very kind, the lunch we got was really nice. A special thank to Fatima who does the Thai massages 💚 Better than a physiotherapist and listening to your needs. We were stay for the night but wish we had booked for much longer, we will definitely be back to explore more of the island as it was the perfect spot to celebrate my birthday.
