Authentic village. We didn't want to be in a resort. The villagers were so friendly and wanted nothing in return apart from a hello back. There is a little shop just outside the gate for water etc. We got fruit for smoothies from the fruit stall in the village, they also sold sprite etc, there was a mobile shop and two lovely seafood restaurants. Our favourite was Mzuri run by a really friendly guy Hassan, wonderful succulent seafood. We loved it. It was just what we were looking for - authentic and local. Everything is cool and in the shade and very calm. The staff are a total delight, always smiling and extremely helpful.
