Profile Deluxe Motel, hotel in Bretton Woods

Located in Twin Mountain, within 15 miles of Mount Washington and 26 miles of Loon Mountain, Profile Deluxe Motel provides accommodations with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi throughout...

I cannot say enough about the Profile Deluxe Motel (Mike and Jodi), the room was nicley set-up, kind of a homey feeling. They allowed me early check in with very short notice. The room was very clean, there was a binder in the room that had local restuarants (directions, mileage), among other great information, everything was nicely done. This is a very friendly, welcoming place, their dog even welcomes you :). This was a vacation, but I have stayed in many 3-4 star (or higher) hotels over the years while traveling on business in the US and Europe, the Profile Deluxe Motel gets my vote all the way, relaxing, welcoming, clean etc. etc. Wish I could have stayed more than one night. If I am in the area again, will definetly go back!!!

Dave and Karen went above and beyond with many little extras. They made their Inn feel like home. Loved the antiques and the Halloween decorations. Breakfast was amazing! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area, offering attraction and dinner recommendations, as well as historical tidbits. Hope to visit again

The hotel is Iconic and truly pretty.

The hotel is Iconic and truly pretty. The room we had was dirty upon arrival, not something we expected for a 300 a night room in such a beautiful location. Something is off. Five star hotels should be near perfect. I've stayed in better managed Best Westerns.

The building and grounds are stunning.

The building and grounds are stunning. The food is great and most hotel amenities are fabulous. Just a few challenges…indoor hot tub was filthy…our sink in the room did not drain and was never fixed, and the attendant in the jewelry store never offered to help me but rather stayed on the phone the entire time I was in there talking about the money that was skimmed from the $15,000 he had in a safe while on vacation. It was inappropriate and rude in my opinion. Also, no one answered the front desk when I called. The golf course is amazing! Lots of goose poop but that probably can’t be helped.

We wanted to stay another evening and couldn't add that on...

We wanted to stay another evening and couldn't add that on at the front desk. They advised us to call to make reservation. We ended up staying 2 extra nights as my husband became ill and was transported via ambulance to hospital. Staff at hotel, especially emt were incredibly helpful. Having said all of that, the room was very small, but pleasant and comfortable...I would have bought the pillow it was so comfortable. There was very poor communication re reservations for dinner. We weren't aware that we needed to do that prior to arriving and had a lot of anxiety about if we were going to be able to dine. My husband is 91 yrs old and we have traveled extensively, but needed to be closer to home due to health issues so we looked forward to a nice stay Nd great meals. Food, was wonderful...but as i said, it was difficult to make reservations at the nicer restaurants...and we were offered 9 pm reservations. My husband couldnt possibly wait that long for dinner. We really enjoyed our time there for the most part. And when my husband needed to go to the hospital, staff was so kind and supportive. We would love to return although the cost of the room was very high. Also, there was a step going up to the bed which was really dangerous for my husband. And Because we couldn't talk directly with front desk about reservations, had I known about stair in room, I would have requested a handicap room. We drove (I drove) 5 hours to the inn which is more than my limit. Again, when we arrived we were informed about need for dinner reservations and ended up waiting for a table in the bar downstairs. Thank u for allowing me to provide feedback. Nancy varga/ David hays

If you are in the area for hiking and bring your own food...

If you are in the area for hiking and bring your own food you're ok. It's hard to find a good restaurant that' serves healthy food and open at uncommon hours. Most of the restaurants close very early 2pm and 8-9pm. Especially during covid some are closed and menus are limited. Hotels in the area are not that great
