We were in for a sports event and Covington is a superb location for the Cincinnati teams (Bengals, Reds, Cyclones, FC), as well as the attractions and nightlife of Newport on the Levee. Covington itself is an up-and-coming district where there's been considerable investment in recent years. Its got a lovely riverfront and the town has many great restaurants and bars. Within easy walking distance of downtown Cincinnati (10 mins) or jump on the frequent trolley for just $1 to go to Cincy or Newport.
