Location was perfect. We traveled with my granddaughter to Abingdon, VA for a benefit softball tournament at the Meadows Sports Complex. We could see the ballfield from out hotel room. The room was large and roomy. No complaints.

The first room they put me in, the toilet didn't flush. Second room when we flushed the toilet, it wouldn't stop flushing. We had to ask for towels and rags. The air didn't work and the beds were like sleeping on the floor. There was a foul smell. Overall would not recommend and we will not be returning.

There were a number of nice details, such as device chargers on both sides of the bed, extra toothbrush, etc . Warm muffins on arrival, and coffee and tea. Hostess and host were available, but did not hover. The facility was spotless and comfortable, but it was not overdone like so many bnb’s we have been to.

This motel located in Shenandoah Valley is just off Interstate 81 and 2 miles from the Virginia Creeper Trail. Facilities include free Wi-Fi.

Place was a perfect retro motel with modern rooms. Staff was friendly and room was extremely clean. The view from our window was beautiful and the property views were amazing and it was very quiet even though this is so close to the interstate. We will be staying here again in the future.
