A great town featuring a beautiful lake with nice parks and scenic areas alongside. The Smith Opera House is a great venue for a concert and the area has a number of nice restaurants, including one adjacent to the opera house. Absolutely loved Geneva and Seneca Lake!
Absolutely loved Geneva and Seneca Lake! The walk (by the welcome center) along the shoreline is beautiful. A great place to watch the sunrise. Halsey’s was a great dinner choice. The wineries in the area were excellent!! Boundary Breaks and Zugibe wineries are must stops!! Gorgeous setting, terrific and accommodating staff, and overall very relaxing. Geneva a small but lovely town and we ate at Halsey's Restaurant, which was quite good. The Belhurst Castle restaurant was lovely and the food was fairly good; the Geneva Resort Boutique Hotel (where we stayed) restaurant wasn't terrific and was quite expensive but the atmosphere was wonderful.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Scenic beauty abounds in a thriving, vibrant community. Specialty seems to be the number of wineries. Our interest was more cultural/historic and there are many significant sites within short drives.
