The downtown is both historic and also larger than most Texas historic downtowns and included multiple blocks rather than one street. It was lively with lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping places, as well as people sitting in folding chairs on the courthouse yard just enjoying the night. We went to a place that had people ages newborn to 90 and also had patron’s dogs, so everyone was welcome and it made for a better experience. I have already told several friends that they need to visit Georgetown because it was so much nicer than it seems in online posts. Parking was free and they had two attendants who showed us where the available spaces were. The entire city is clean and feels very safe. I’m looking forward to returning and plan to stay an extra day just to see the sights. I highly recommend if you’re anywhere near the area!

This property had a nice indoor pool and fitness center. The hot breakfast was good, and the service was very good.
Getting around Georgetown is easy if you're a local, but once you learn what access roads and frontage roads are, you will be fine.
Avoid driving at night if you don't know where you're going. Lots of new construction, and it's difficult to see everything in the dark.

I love the history of the area and all the natural beauty too. We visited Inner Space which was right there. We could park our car at the hotel and just walk to town. Which is recommended since there is a 2 hr parking limit in town on the square and after some wine and shopping the time slips away. :)

Wish they didn’t have the trimming laying on the floor from an unfinished project. Other than that the room wasn’t that bad actually but the coffee machine was broken and the gym was in terrible shape. Just needs fixed up a bit.

Georgetown is known as having the best town square in Texas and I can see why. My wife and I loved walking around the square and we spent quite a bit of time driving around the neighborhoods to get a feel for it. People were super friendly. The 306 coffee shop kicked off our day and it was just so comfortable and friendly. We had lunch at the Monument Cafe and the food was really good (chicken fried chicken and a grilled chicken salad.) We enjoyed our stay so much that we'd consider retiring in Georgetown.

Georgetown is indeed a beautiful City, people is very friendly, indeed has the most beautiful square in Texas. It has grown a lot, but the charm it’s still there. Georgetown used to be our Home, due to job transfer had to move, but Georgetown has a very special place in our heart. Georgetown has a lot of amazing places to see, a lot of things to do, the Blue Hole it’s the perfect spot to cool off in the summer and I’m the winter is the greatest place to take a walk. S a family there’s many places to enjoy, we spend several hours at Mel’s Lonestar Lanes, their bowling lanes are great, their food is wonderful, great mixed drinks, totally the perfect family environment. Walking at the square is great, it’s a beautiful place, great shops to enjoy from ice cream, drinks, food, friendly people, pet friendly, you can find pretty much everything.
NOTHING! Property was VERY, VERY dirty. Common area had a horrible sweat smell. Room had the same smell. The room I stayed in was horrible. It was old, dirty and spotted painting. The worst hotel I have stayed in!!!
Honestly it was a good stay at the hotel and everything but it was soooo expensive for no reason! They chargers me 200 dollars after an extra day that I told them I didn’t want.
