Convenient location. I liked the large pool for swimming laps. The whirlpool water was hot. The weight room looked well equipped. The restaurant had a good selection. And I did not have to drive to a restaurant for a good meal. The bed was comfortable. I slept well.

We had 3 adults and 4 kids and it was the perfect amount of space for us all! The house was very clean and very well kept. It was a great location, quiet and seemed centered in town.

    Charming city in a spectacular part of America.

    Charming city in a spectacular part of America. Just a few miles outside of Marquette and about equal distance in between Munising or Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and the Keweenaw Peninsula. Great place to stay for any work being done in the area, as well as a good base of operations to seeing or travelling the UP.

    Ishpeming is a lovely area between Marquette and the Keweenaw Peninsula. It has a wonderful breakfast restaurant named Sherrie's Restaurant, and Lawry's pastie and cudighi shop is a must. There is a rich history in the area.

    There was the most lovely lady at the front desk. She was the nicest person . So very helpful. We frequented a few restaurants via her suggestion. I can't remember her name , but she was a very tiny lady with dark hair. The house keeping staff was wonderful as well. We'll be coming back . My son lives in Ishpeming .

    Enjoyed some pre-packaged oatmeal, fresh fruit , yogurt and a bagel and cream cheese for breakfast....which was quite adequate. Large comfy bed and spacious room . There were a few restaurants in the area that were a few minutes walk from the hotel.

    The hotel was not a bad hotel. It could've been a little more updated but it was clean and great for a short stay. Jim at the desk gave us wonderful pointers on things to do. All the staff was awesome! 100% recommend.

    Traveling with a one year old can be hectic, but the staff at the Magnuson Hotel made it a breeze! Extra blankets, towels, trash bags, etc was very helpful!
