Had a little mix up with my room. Needed a handicap accessible room. When I asked if there was anyway I could switch rooms, the staff jumped right in it. They didn't have the same type room that I was originally in so they moved us to adjoining rooms. When the air conditioning wasn't working in one of those rooms, they moved me to the room on the side, so my group could still be close. It was the 4th of July weekend and that staff went above and beyond to get us what we needed. The breakfast every morning was wondering. Had either omelets or scrambled eggs. You could make your own waffle. Kimberly, one of the workers in the kitchen was on top of everything. Making sure the area and tables were clean. Asked if we needed thing and was very friendly.

Booked a little getaway with my husband, the hotel was very nice, clean, modern! Staff was friendly and very helpful at check in, giving us a ton of information about the property and even giving surrounding dinner recommendations! We decided to stay in and order room service, the food was fantastic, affordable, and arrived to the room quickly! Our room was cute, very clean, and the bed was very comfortable! Overall great hotel, felt very safe, clean, comfortable, with great food and drinks! We’ll definitely be back soon!

first night Friday night Aug 22 she did not know the events going on around i.e. hot air balloon in Richland. did not know about good restaurants. did not tell us about the Gilmore car museum and the Kalamazoo farmers market, we found those things out on our own.

This was a last minute stay due to a power outage in town. The staff remained kind, helpful, and flexible despite having a full hotel of last minute guests. The room itself was warm and comfortable, giving us respite from the icy weather. Plus, it was very affordable so we didn't have to worry about the unexpected expense. On top of that, their cancellation policy is very helpful and a huge plus! AND the location is close to the highway, grocery stores, restaurants, and other local businesses. Thank you for everything!

    First time in Kalamazoo.

    First time in Kalamazoo. Recommend Martels restaurant for wonderful Italian cuisine. Was only an overnight stay to attend the Yo Yo Ma concert at WMU so not a lot of time in the city. Seems very nice. Next trip will be for the Aviation Zoo museum.

    Cider mill very close to the hotel.

    Cider mill very close to the hotel. (Everything is close by.) Enjoyed looking at the older houses in the neighborhoods. Walking in the nature preserves was also satisfying. Eating options were plentiful. Bell's Brewery has delicious food. Nice art museum and parks. Fun shops. For a weekend trip from Chicago be sure to take the Dunes Highway for a scenic view. Train stops right near the Hilton Hotel as well.

    I thought Kalamazoo was a nice town.

    I thought Kalamazoo was a nice town. I look forward to coming again. I do hope the road construction is finished upon my return. With the one way streets & construction, it was difficult to get around.

    Miller Auditorium for events is great.

    Miller Auditorium for events is great. Very good Art Museum. AirZoo is definitely. worth a visit. Good food choices. Good walkable downtown. Amtrak station is close to downtown(walking distance).

    I am from this area but have been away for about 21 years.

    I am from this area but have been away for about 21 years. Downtown is so much nicer than it used to be. We were able to walk to and from the Beet Exchange - super cool, awesome food, beer and staff. We actually cut thru Bronson Park - which I would have never done as a younger person So many restaurants, craft brew, little parks. It was so nice to see. We hit the Crows Nest for breakfast in the morning. Awesome place but get there early! By the time we left at 10 there was a line waiting.

    We booked this hotel as intermediate stop between Chicago and Dearborn. When we arrived Hilton reservation system was down. However, we were upgraded to a huge suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Later, we wanted to drink beer but they had none at the small reception shop. But the very nice lady at the reception organized three warm leftover beers from the office and ice. We forgot an item in the room which was found by the room service after we left. We could pick it up on our way back. Great service!

    It was basic but cost more than the other hotels we've been to. We have no complaints about the cleanliness, service and comfort. Just that it was more expensive. It was easy to find. Location was also good. Parking space was enough.
