It has everything you needed. And the staff was always asking if you needed anything else for your room. They were very attentive and courteous. Will do that again as soon as I go up north.

The property owners were very responsive to a small issue we had. They had it cleared up in less than a day while we were out hanging out in nearby Traverse City. We enjoyed our stay. Wonderful place . We loved it. Just wish our vacation would have lasted longer.

    We didn't spend much time in Kalkaska.

    We didn't spend much time in Kalkaska. We came to see 7 Bridges trail and Ruggs Pond. We ate at Moose and Stella's Cafe where the hamburger was truly excellent and the salad was good, and generous. We also had a pizza at G's Pizzeria and Deli. Their deluxe pizza was very good.

    It's a nice town. Has anything you would need.

    It's a nice town. Has anything you would need. Cherry street market is real nice and you are only 25 miles from Traverse City, which means costs are cheaper than Travers. Also, casino is about 18 miles.

    Every member of the staff that we interacted with was...

    Every member of the staff that we interacted with was extremely pleasant and helpful. I was delighted to see a smoking area outside with chairs and a roof! Usually don't get either one. The beds were obviously new and really comfy. The TV was good and they did have a channel listing card. The hot tub was large and really hot! The only downfall for the entire property was the continental breakfast was delivered to our room in a bag due to Covid. Not a fan of cellophane wrapped muffins or day old bananas.

    The manager was nice. We asked if there was a toaster.

    The manager was nice. We asked if there was a toaster. He said he would check it out. We found out as we were checking out that he drove 50 miles to get one for us! We didn't find out in time. We really appreciated him for that. We just didn't find out in time.

    The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was only 30 minutes from Traverse City. We were in town for the cherry festival and this hotel was a lot more affordable than the ones close to town.
