The hotel was a renovated multi-family residence from the 1940's which was accomplished with great charm. It was about 3 blocks from the public transportation bus stop and was close to restaurants and a nice grocery store, which was great since there was a community kitchen with utensils and cooking ware as well as a stove, oven, microwave, sink and refrigerator. The rooms were cozy and well-appointed ~ linens were provided.

We were upgraded from a Studio with 2 Queens to a 1 bedroom with 2 Queens, which was a pleasant surprise! Check in & check out was quick & friendly. The room was clean and spacious for our family of 5. The kitchen was small but mighty. The bathroom was very nice, the shower had hot water, absolutely no issues. It would have been nice to have a vent fan, but other than that no complaints. The beds were comfortable, the pillows a little too firm for my liking. We enjoyed our stay very much, especially the free hot breakfast in the morning! Next time we book, we hope to have extra time to utilize the swimming pool, hot tub, and fun play area.

    We were visiting for an event at the LB Beer Lab and were glad to see that the area had really cleaned up in recent years. We didn't get too far from the hotel, but had we stayed longer, would have liked to see more of the city.

    Beautiful area. We had never been. We were just returning from a cruise. It is close to several beaches, the Queen Mary and LA. We went to LA while there. We just had the best time and it was so relaxing. I would definitely go back. We got to go to Rosco's Chicken & Waffles. The food was amazing. We had never been to it before. We took an amazing tour to the Hollywood sign and to Beverly Hills thru VIP Hollywood Tours. It was amazing. Great pictures and tour guide(Justin). Saw so many celebrity home up close and personal.

    Long Beach is a destination that offers plenty of walking sights and sounds. If you're looking for a quirky place to stay, consider the Queen Mary. Dining on this historic ship provides a unique evening experience. Bask in a different time when life was simpler and people took pride in their appearance. The boardwalks and shopping streets make for a great alternative to lounging by the swimming pool. Although I had only passed through Los Angeles before, this time I decided to take some time to stop and soak in the surrounding area.

    Never had a chance to really fully experience Long Beach as we went there only for one reason and that was the Queen Mary. We didn't check in until late in the afternoon. Dinner time. And checked out early in the morning

    Long Beach is a hidden gem! The food was incredible.

    Long Beach is a hidden gem! The food was incredible. We went to Lola's Mexican Cuisine, and it was fantastic! We went to Saint & Second and it did not disappoint! It was phenomenal. We also visited King's Fish house and the Breakfast bar. We went to the Coin show at the convention center and we enjoyed Astra Lumina at South Coast Botanical Gardens. Overall, an absolutely amazing time!

    We booked this room 5 minutes before arriving to escape the fires in LA. The manager on duty was helpful and understanding. We had an amazing stay and were very happy! We were very impressed with how beautiful Long Beach was. It's a lovely town!

    The hotel has a heated roof top pool that is open until 10pm. Unfortunately the bar at the pool was still closed. The hotel is located near the pier in Long Beach and right in the middle of the outlet shopping mall - that was a welcomed surprise for us :) plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around - although not the best ones :)

    Lovely hotel in a fabulous location. We had an amazing view of the Queen Mary from our window. There was a cafe area in the lobby that sold lovely take away breakfast items. We made use of this and had breakfast in our room, with coffee from our bedroom coffee machine.

    In general, everything was good. Staff, cleanliness, comfort in the room etc. I didn't eat at their restaurant or use their swimming pool, but it appeared that everything was good. Location was convenient but it is not a prime location in long beach or LA.
