We went to game 3 of the 2018 world series. This was our first time at dodger stadium, we were celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. Dodger stadium was very clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating and helpful. The experience was amazing.
To avoid the traffic/parking nightmare, take Uber/Lyft to union station and take the free bus to and from the game. The cost of the Uber/Lyft will be double on the way back..they charge for “busy time”. Total cost about $45.00 but saves on frustration and time.
My first baseball game and I loved it. Ticked having a hotdog and a Bud at the game off my bucket list! The place is enormous but very easy to get to and back from. The staff were very helpful as we had never been to somewhere like this before.
You need transport to get up there and back. LA residents don't seem to do walking!! They looked at us as if we were aliens when we said we would walk. Actually - you can't!! There are no footpaths and it's quite a way out of the town
The front entrance start gave us wrong directions to our seats. We walked around for 2 innings trying to find them. When we got there some woman was sitting in them and wanted to see my tickets to make sure they were mine!
Very nice park and adjacent neighborhood. Park good for walking, but be aware of some cruising activity....the police academy is is the park as well, so its not particularly unsafe. The adjacent neighborhoods of Silverlake, Echo Park, and China town offer a lot in local culture.
Location: proximity to Dodger Stadium, and local bars and restaurants in Echo Park.
it was close to the dodger stadium
