I came to Pasadena for a four day conference. As a first timer here, I was skeptical at first to commute but found out travelling via bus is very convenient and cost efficient than driving. Decent people using public transport and bus drivers are friendly and nice. A lot of restaurants, shops in Colorado blvd.

Pasadena is a great city to visit.
Pasadena is a great city to visit. The area of the Courtyard by Marriott is the most ideal to visit . Tons of restaurants and shops and really easy to walk around. There are MANY things to do in Pasadena - museums, gardens and lots of historical architecture! Hiking too if you have transportation to a trailhead.

I liked most that there are NO TV or noises from guest rooms near my room; It's a nonsmoking Hotel; The rooms doesn't have any stale or odors in them (at least not in my room); There are NO guest hanging-out, talking, or on cellphones in the hallways or in front of my room's door; There's a restaurant in the lobby; Rooms have mini Fridges, a Couch; Desk for writing/laptop work, and a Big Screen TV's in them; The bed and room is comfortable and clean (Traffic noise and Dust in my room being the only problems due to my Allergies, Asthma and Migraine health conditions which are sensitive to dust); The location is perfect, with Public Transportation; Restaurants; Parks; a Library, Bank, Market; Entertainment; Gas Station; Post Office; etc. nearby (walking distance); The rooms walls are NOT paper thin (Thank God:); The TV has lost of Channels to choose from, including HBO, Netflix, YouTube, Bluetooth, etc. options.
I did not like that the rooms DO NOT have any Hardwood floors or Hypoallergenic carpeting in rooms specifically for Allergy suffers; The rooms DO NOT have Bathtubs in them (only Showers); There are NO Snack Vending machines on any floors 2-6 (Guest have to get it from the lobby/front desk); The rooms have NO Microwaves in them (but you can request one from the Front Desk (which they won't tell you you can do or have brought to your room); Delivery food have to be picked up from the lobby (due to the elevator being to far from the lobby to get to and no one to assist delivers to your room); The Hotel has NO room service; You will hear dogs/a dog (if any) barking when they are passing by your room via the hallways and or in guest rooms next to yours; The PLUTO App Movies & TV Channels DO NOT work properly or at all (the Internet signal constantly disconnects or never gets connected). Housekeeping is every other day (wish it could be every 3 or 4 days for uninterrupted rest for guest whose stay is a week or longer).

I grew up in Pasadena and it's a fine little city with many places that would be fun to visit, e.g. the Huntington Library and estate. It's not Los Angeles or New York, but it's clean and peaceful AND within an hour's drive, one can get to Los Angeles or Hollywood (or Universal Studios) or the fine beaches. Two hours to Disneyland.

Pasadena is a walkable safe part of greater LA.
Pasadena is a walkable safe part of greater LA. It is easy to get to via the freeway system from the airport and easy to drive to other parts of LA. There are a lot of great vegan restaurants. There are many options for buying groceries too. Lovely residential neighbourhoods for walks near downtown. Huntington Library and Gardens are well worth a visit. Well preserved historical architecture all around. Pasadena Antique Market in downtown is fantastic as is Vromens Books. Nice mix of independent shops and bigger chains. Pasadena Hotel and Pool was less expensive than comparables in other parts of LA. If I had to live in LA for work I would want to live in Pasadena.

The city of old pasadena was nice.
The city of old pasadena was nice. Lots of architecture and activity. However, hotels are plopped in the busy sections and parking garages. Lots of concrete! Not peaceful
The hotel food was very good. Staff as well.
Just uncomfortable with hotel location.
Lovely peaceful surroundings with view of mountains, close to the Interstate 210 if driving into downtown LA. Staff were very friendly and helpful at reception and at breakfast area. Plenty of parking available and felt really safe inside the hotel premises. Clean, spacious room with all basic facilities needed for a city stay.
Great motel for families. Good location for Universal Studios and Disneyland also not far away. Pasadena is quite and safe location with lots of shops around. Pool was great. Fully recommend.
Room was tidy and clean, there wasn’t much road noise considering we were next to a busy road. Hotel was easy to navigate. Breakfast was included but we didn’t have any breakfast.
