The state park is one of the gems of the area.
The state park is one of the gems of the area. It's been my favorite state park since I was a kid. It's not really in the town of Mitchell, but about 3 miles down the road. The room we were in was in need of updating.
The room we were in was in need of updating. The paint was peeling in doorway to bathroom, the carpet looked and felt dirty, the veneer was off the nightstand, windowsill had dust and several dead ladybugs. Staff outstanding! The Inn is way back in the park. I didn't know this, we paid fee's in order to get an answer to find out where it was.. To find out it was further back.. Beautiful setting, arrived before dinner. Such a great fresh meal! Outstanding.. Went swimming after dinner. Warm wonderful. This place is amazing. Room could use small up grade's.
