It was very quiet. We loved the scenery, the cabin was cozy, and the location was nice and secluded. The staff were so friendly and answered any questions we had. It was like home away from home!! We will DEFINITELY be back!!!

    Didn't stay long enough to discover Newberry but we loved...

    Didn't stay long enough to discover Newberry but we loved Timber Charlies, recommended for supper by front desk staff. It's an exceptionally professionally operated restaurant, from initial welcome and table assignment to service throughout the meal. The place was humming, tables were being over three times in the course of the evening, the staff all worked well together like a well-oiled machine. Food was great, too !

    We always enjoy Taquamenon Falls and Oswald's Bear Ranch.

    We always enjoy Taquamenon Falls and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Newberry is a good spot that isn't terribly far from Pictured Rocks, various waterfalls, lighthouses, Shipwreck Museum, etc. Downside is that restaurant options are very limited in Newberry and the one sit down restaurant just down the road that offered breakfast, lunch, and dinner was closed on Sundays and Mondays.

    We loved EVERYTHING about our stay! The home is so clean, the linen smells amazing, there was more than enough space for 4 ladies. The layout is comfortable and they had everything you could possibly need waiting for us. The location was perfect. It was less than a 30 min drive to the falls, a very convenient grocery store and gas station nearby. Next time I need to check out the pizza place down the street!

    It was close to where we needed to be. The room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The desk clerk gave us a room on the ground floor an near a door, which was nice because my dad is 92 and not very mobile. That was greatly appreciated.

    I stayed here in the past, based on my past experience preferred this place, but it was horrible. Bedbugs, and it’s pretty bad we couldn’t get sleep. I spotted couple of flies/insects in the room. Would never stay again. Pls stay away from this hotel.
