The room was really lovely, on another level from standard chain hotels, beds were SO comfortable and we had a great night's sleep it was so quiet. The shower got a big 10/10 from me. Breakfast was a great selection too. The fact we could walk straight out onto the beach and for me get in the sea, was wonderful. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I was passing through.

We were told that everyone works remotely now. Our studio was HORRIBLE / would NEVER recommend going through Booking.Com due to misrepresentation!!

I always book room 202 because it has always been clean, walk in shower, 2 sinks in master BR with high faucets and particular like the balcony because the chairs are high & can see over the rails for good view of beach

We LOVED Orange Beach, AL.
We LOVED Orange Beach, AL. It was an easy 3 hour drive for us, to make it a perfect 2 day getaway. We have traveled all over the Caribbean, and this beach was the cleanest and best beach. There was no seaweed and the sand was a perfect white sand. Our only complaint was our hotel, the Fairfield Inn. It was not on the beach (first mistake we made), but we thought we’d be fine with it, and we would have if it was cleaner and more updated. We have stayed in Fairfield Inns all over the country, and this one was in ill repair, old, and positively dirty. They first gave us room 202, but when we walked in, the air conditioning unit was apart and on the floor, and there was no TV. We were then assigned to room 208. We had a balcony, but it was not Gulf facing, but facing a subdivision. But the worst part was the filth. I don’t think they ever clean off their balcony! Thousands of dead bugs, and spilled items on floor, and tables were dirty. The room itself was so disgusting, with dirty stained sheets, and an unclean bathroom. I did not complain to the desk, so that’s on me, but thought I’d be charged for our room if we left, and we would not find another hotel available short notice. I did not mention continued of bathroom to my husband, or he would have been truly upset, but I used the antiseptic wipes I packed to remove the dried diarrhea from the outside toilet bowl, and around the base. How could any housekeeping staff miss that or ignore that? They claim exceptional cleaning and sanitizing due to COVID, and it was anything but. Our room had 2 queen beds, so we chose the bed with the cleaner sheets, but on last night I noticed that even the heavier bed covering had stains all over it, once the sheet pulled back. Totally disgusted with this hotel. The desk staff was exceptionally friendly, though, and if I was alone, I would have complained, but I didnt want to make my hubby feel bad over the getaway he planned.

Clean beach!
Clean beach! Restaurants still a little short staffed. Look for Ike’s Beach Rentals, stay clear of Perdido Beach Rentals. As we all struggle with the new world after Covid and staffing issues …. Rudeness is never acceptable. Not sure, why walking a mile in sand to rent a chair, and being told he was ‘too busy’ to take my money … Wow, is all I can say!

Orange Beach is amazing!
Orange Beach is amazing! The selection of condos are great. The beach is beautiful! There is so much to do around the area with kids both rain or shine. Many restaurants that have very good food and locally owned. I fell in love with Orange Beach in 2013 and ended up staying till 2021. Make sure you get a balcony so you can watch for dolphins and sharks. They appear usually in the morning and early evenings. Take A dolphin trip out of Bear Point in Orange Beach Rent a jet ski or boat. Parasailing behind a boat in the Gulf is great too.

We had stains on the shower curtain and bedding. I went to the Walmart in front of the hotel and bought items to clean the tub,toilet we also bought bedding for the room.
