BEAUTIFUL. Just absolutely wow. Never got tired of the views, the resort is really well taken care of. It is in a more remote location, but that’s kind of the point. We hired a driver for the day to take us to all the highlights within the national park, which was worth it. There was practically no tourists at all (saw maybe 2-3 throughout our stay and visits). 100% recommend for 2-3 days, just to relax. Staff is super nice. Although their English isn’t very strong, they go out of their way to help you and we used Google translate at certain moments and that worked perfect.

This homestay is perfect for exploring the ancient village of Duong Lam. Dung (aka Zoom) the host is very very welcoming. He showed us all around the small farm on the grounds of the homestay, drove us to lunch and around the village in his open air jeep, and taught us much about the village and rural Vietnam life. I would strongly recommend staying here if you want to get out of Hanoi and experience the more peaceful countryside. It's also close to Ba Vi national park (Dung told us he often takes guests up there from the homestay).

MÔ he Creative Hub is a recently renovated homestay in Sơn Tây where guests can make the most of its free bikes and garden. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

All, it was a magical space where you can share with animals and friends. So traditional, natural, cozy and rustic. One of the best places to travel in Vietnam.
