What a paradise! We loved every minute at Maninghi Lodge. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like kings and queens by Paul, Victoria, and the wonderful staff. We felt our stress just melted away. It is truly a beautiful setting. The river, the breeze, the animals .... everything is magical. We saw lots of animals right in front of the lodge - hippos, monkeys, waterboks, warhogs, elephants.... The game drives are also amazing. Paul is an extremely experienced safari guide. We particularly loved the sundown drinks with all the animals roaming around us. The food was so delicious. From breakfast to dinner, every meal was prepared with care. We loved the traditional potjie dinner and the wonderful open fire BBQ. Paul and Victoria went out of their way to make sure that our every needs were satisfied.

The property is super nice, with a fence around it so also safe. Is has a really nice public area with a great swimming pool and view over the parc. While chilling there you can always see some animals.

What a place to stay! This was our second trip in two years to Kruger. Can’t say enough about the lodge, rooms (comfy beds!), views, food, our wonderful guide Victor, ownership, and the rest of the staff. We saw all the big 5 within 24 hours and had way more intimate and close up viewings than other options. They are so caring and paid attention to small details to make guests feel special. We were sad to leave. This was just as beautiful and luxurious as more expensive lodges, but less pretentious. Very welcoming and comfortable. Even the monkeys were cute and not wrecking havoc! It makes a huge difference during down time to enjoy where you are staying and the views of animals just from our deck and view was above and beyond what we would expect. We would recommend Greenfire to anyone and we can’t wait to come back. Thanks everyone!

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Milima Big 5 Safari Lodge in the Greater Kruger area in South Africa, and it was, without a doubt, one of the most remarkable experiences of our lives. The lodge perfectly blends luxury and nature, offering an authentic yet comfortable safari experience. Accommodation: The rooms were beautifully appointed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. Waking up to the sounds of nature and the sight of the stunning landscape right from our window was a daily delight. Staff: The staff at Milima Big 5 went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. They were attentive, friendly, and always available to assist with anything we needed. Food: The culinary experience was a highlight in itself. Each meal was a delightful adventure, with a variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. The quality and presentation of the food were exceptional, adding to the overall luxury of our stay. Wildlife Experience: The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the wildlife. Guided by our fantastic guide, Sydney, we embarked on thrilling game drives, witnessing an abundance of animals in their natural habitat. Sydney's knowledge and passion for wildlife enriched our experience, making each sighting more special. What an incredible experience at Muweti. We were hosted by Audrey and our guide Neil. They were both extremely kind and really took good care of us. The room was spacious and comfortable with all amenities you'd expect. The property is well-kept and with only 3 lodges it maintains a calm aura. The food was absolutely spectacular - the kitchen really works wonders. Our day always began with a morning game drive, followed by breakfast, some free time, lunch, and then an afternoon game drive. We rounded off with a sit by the fire and then dinner and drinks. Everything was very well coordinated and efficient. The game drives were super. Not only did we see a lot of animals and birds (Muweti is located inside a private reserve), but the level of knowledge that Neil had was unreal. We learned a lot about the behaviors, habits, and physiology of many animals, birds and even trees from Neil. He's young, talented, and very funny so the game drives were incredibly fun. We'd go back to Muweti in a heartbeat - it was a great experience.

The cottaqe is very cute, and was as described. The owner and caretaker / guide were terrific. The game drives were a lot of fun. It was a fully immersive experience for us, Elephants everywhere, herds walking around the cottage, Giraffe's stopped by, lots of Impalas, we didn't see the Lions strolling around the cottage but did see them while driving in and out of the reserve. I'd highly recommend!

    we stayed at the lodge the whole time we were at kruger, and it was super safe and beautiful, the days were planned amazingly well. next time i will bring a better camera, binoculars and a nicer hat! The stargazing was immense, we saw the whole milky way!

    Amazing game drives given by Paul from Maninghi Lodge. He is the most knowledgable guide we have ever had. His passion and love for the bush is infectious! We thoroughly enjoyed our drives with him, and he was a large part of what made our stay so great!
