The beach and waves are great for swimming.

The beach and waves are great for swimming. The tiddle pool was fun when it was low tide. The wind is not always blowing that strong in Harolds Bay because it is surrounded with high hills. The shop has everything you need urgently and George is close by if you want to do shopping. The restaurant at Harolds Bay Hills is excellent!

Great place to stay, very comfortable and felt like it was home instead of accommodation. Close to one of the most beautiful beaches in the country, with loads of other attractions nearby as well. Definitely a value for money stay.

It was absolutely beautiful with a sandy beach, and two tidal pools where lots of people were swimming. The accommodation was on the beach front and was beautful. There is a small shop around the corner to supply one's immediate needs. George is only 11 km away with everything one would need. The weather was perfect. We went to lunch at Dutton Cove's Restaurant- very nice fish and great views as well. There was a troop of monkeys in the surrounding forest. Would recommend Herolds Bay anytime

place was stunning, however when i booked was noted we had to vacate the place between 8-12am, we had cleaning staff demanding we leave at 9.30 so they can clean as new tenants arrive at 2.. we were intending to leave at 10, they could not wait and insisted to invade our space. very unnecessary as the cabin was kept as we found it. i think the maids must understand we are the paying customer not them. bit of a spoiler. the host michelle was very attentive and gracious. thank you michelle for the response on the call out too😉 to brian and verner can see you have a close family and have had wonderful times have memories... luv that.

The accommodation was awesome, the reception super friendly and informative. The view was unequaled. It was a most memorable stay. The meals at Dutton's Cove were amazing. So glad that we chose Herold's Bay as a destination and Ozone Apartments as our host. The hike to the cross and the view from there was breathtaking. We were even blessed to see well over 300 dolphins in 2 consecutive days and 2 whales. Will definitely re-visit.

VERY GOOD ,BUT THE LOCAL SHOP HAS NOT MUCH TO OFFER. LOW ON STOCK AND THE BREAD WERE OLD.ON SUNDAY THE PLACE WERE PACKED AND SOME VISITORS HAD FIGHTS OVER PARKING SPACE.AS THERE IS NO DEMARCATED PARKING SPACE FOR VISITORS STAYING OVER ,SO IT WAS A BATTLE IF YOU LEFT YOUR PARKING SPACE AND RETURN AND COULD NOT FIND PARKING.

We initially planned to stay here for just one night, but the stunning beauty of the hotel and its location quickly convinced us to extend our stay. Sandra and her team went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience, making this one of our favourite stays in South Africa. Sandra is an exceptional host, and her warmth and hospitality alone are reason enough for us to return - though the flawless facilities certainly make it even more worthwhile.

Awesome place next to a nice restaurant with great food. We got easy bookings because we stayed at the resort. Owner made sure to give as every morning a different breakfast. You are walking distance from the beach. But it is only for the fit. That 400m was the longest 8km I have ever walked. For the slow people. It is a mother of a steap klim back to the hotel.

I don’t think I’ve seen better value for money in all my hotel stays. The rooms I’ve stayed in so far, number ‘7’ and ‘8’ have great views of the ocean. The room itself is very nice too. The last stay was over a busy long weekend but the noise was not noticeable in room & price was still excellent. Good communication from staff as well. It is a gem.

Location perfect for a seminar we attended at Oubaai Hotel. Quaint seaside apartment. Nice linen and towels. Very nice breakfast. Bottled water in fridge on arrival.
