    Close to the airport. Free shuttle was great and easy to find. Bed was comfortable. Rooms very old and dated. Rickety furniture, very old bathroom. Not that clean. Food was very average. Complex is closed off with electric gates.

    On our second visit to this hotel it was a stopover while waiting to get a plane. It was very comfortable and they allowed us to sit in the garden for much of our day as we had an evening flight. A nice comfortable place to relax. Good value.

    The Hotel is not positioned in the best area.

    The Hotel is not positioned in the best area. Most properties look neglected and frayed around the hotel. The area needs a good cleanup. Having said that, I still felt safe and unthreatened once at the hotel.

    The area of Kempton Park I was in, @Nimrod Park, was very safe and peaceful. It was easy to get around, especially with the place being at a good location, with many amenities close by. I had the most delicious steak roll from @Karee_Vleismark at 59 Monument Road. I can't forget the awesome memories I made at the ice rink too by Festival Mall!

    Mykhaya is okay with their location but passing through Kempton park to get there is really dangerous at night better travel when there is still light to see the road.Driving through Kempton park is terrifying at night.My rural gravel road is more safe than tarred and potholed Kempton park road.Looks like the entire JHB is on a downward spiral.

    Found the courtesy bus with the help of airport staff at OR Tambo airport, regular service, friendly and polite drivers, journey time was around 5 mins from airport to the hotel. We had a quick check in, room was spacious and clean, slept very well after long flight as comfortable bed. Safe was not working but we were only there for the one night. Bar staff were great, food also very good. Had a good breakfast, nice selection, left the following day back to the airport as planned. Would stay again should we nightstop in Johannesburg

    We (6 people) stayed the night at Dove's Nest, because we had an early flight the next morning. The hotel is close to the airport and offers shutter facilities. We arrived by car, but since we got delayed in the way, we arrived at the hotel after midnight. Yet, we were received with a smile. The room is spacious with very comfortable beds, and the bathroom, a little updated, have a good hot shower, all that one could wish for after a 9-hour drive. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the hotel offers a nice breakfast.

    This trip through parts of sub-Saharan Africa, I stayed in about twelve hotels, some only two star, a couple 4 star, but Sunrock was my absolute favourite! Such lovely, welcoming, helpful staff. A great breakfast and dinner! Beautiful Gardens and Pool area, and fantastic bar. The vibe is laid-back and casual, but it's all so beautifully clean and well manicured and comfortable, it feels really classy too! A peaceful, relaxed, friendly stay! Oh, and their spa services offer great massages! Highly recommend!

    Good value for money, clean and secure. Gardens are nice. It would be nice if there a few extra little touches like tissues, a wash cloth, some biscuits for tea and coffee etc. I have noticed however that few hotels in South Africa have this. Rooms are usually sparse and I think I booked a budget room. Breakfast was good and it was useful to have a paid shuttle to take you to the airport.
