Dear Hotel Manager, I am writing to express my sincere gratitude and commend the exceptional service provided by your concierge 张陈 , during my recent stay at Legendale Hotel from April 7-12. From the moment I arrived, your concierge went above and beyond to ensure my stay in Beijing was both seamless and memorable. He consistently demonstrated a willingness to "go the extra mile" in assisting with all my requests, no matter how big or small. I was particularly impressed by his arrangements to multiple request such Great Wall, landmark information, transportation, Opera and restaurant reservations. He always provided clear and helpful information, and his recommendations were spot on. Furthermore, his punctuality with arrangements was truly remarkable. Whether it was securing tickets, booking taxis, or confirming reservations, everything was always handled with precision and efficiency. This level of reliability significantly contributed to enjoyable experience in a bustling city like Beijing. Beyond his efficiency and knowledge, his demeanor was always professional, courteous, and genuinely helpful. The hotel is a wonderful place to stay in and to come back to after a long day exploring Beijing. The rooms were modern, spacious (surprisingly spacious), very clean and the beds were comfy (large and not too soft or hard- just right). The hotel also serves great breakfasts in the morning, and refreshing drinks in the evening. I also enjoyed just how helpful the team at the hotel was. They knew everything about the immediate area and what one should do for itineraries of various length. Most importantly, they were always pleasant, and never failed to make sure we were enjoying our stay and never were lost in Beijing or in China for that matter (because China is very different from any EU or Western country- and I did struggle with WeChat a bit...). Candice, Zoe and the rest of the team were able to various itineraries or day trips- which we did not take advantage of this time, but they did point us towards Lama Temple, Temple of Confucius, and other Beijing shopping destinations that we would not have known about without them. Although we left very early in the morning at the end our stay, they still wanted to wish us a safe trip back home in person. Thank you all! If any of my friends head up to Beijing I will tell them about this hotel :)

The location can't be beat. Easy access to Chang'an Avenue and the Second Ring, but secluded from that traffic and indeed from all traffic by being behind the Regent Hotel. Surrounded by beautiful shops and sits on top of the Dengshikou subway stop. Room is spacious, quiet, and well supplied. As beautiful as is the location and room, is the price. I stayed during what seems like a low season and hadn't seen prices like this since the 1990s. Unless the price triples,I think this is now my favoriate hotel in Beijing.

The room was kept clean, even the cleaning staff was extremely good and cooperative, they couldn't speak English but they communicated via this translate app , my wife was sick , they helped a lot , then we have the front office staff , we met Ms. Coco on arrival she was extremely wonderful and throughout our stay always out to help and who would take that extra step , hats off to her , we stayed 5 days then went to Shanghai and came back for another 5 days, she was a vry nice person and did her best , I should also mentioned and salute Yvonne, a another efficient and a vry helpful girl , she booked tickets, ordered food because I didn't HV the apps used in china,I should mention this , one morning I got her to book tickets to visit the great wall for the next day , the same night my wife got sick again, so I went dwn around 1am and canceled the taxi, and told the guy at the reception, what he did was to inform Ivonne immediately, next morning Ivonne surprised me with a refund of 300 Y , I said how come u got the refund for the great wall tickets , she said as soon as she received the message that my wife is since and will not visit the great wall , she cancelled and got the money refunded, that is great service, she also helped throughout our stay there , Ms . Tuna ( hope I got her name write ) , she is not vry good with her English but she tries hard and was of great service, the two boys jack and jake they were surpurb.. all in all the young guys and girls there at Base are amazing, always looking to take a step extra and keep the customer happy. Thank you all , we will sure recommend you guys and will always stay there when ever we com to Beijing.. we HV traveled to many countries and u guys hv given a super service that you'll can be proud off .. we salute you all also thanks the GM there , he was extremely helpful.. tks Ramesh Jayaratne & Kanchana Senasingha

We have stayed at many hotels around the world, and I can definitely say this is one of the most beautifully designed boutique hotels we’ve experienced. The smart use of space, the room, and the amenities are perfectly designed to make guests feel cozy and welcome. We arrived during winter, and the Purple Horse was a warm oasis in the cold weather. The staff is always ready to help. Even if some of them struggled with English, that did not prevent them from doing everything they could to patiently assist us in any situation: ordering food, heating a takeaway meal, getting a cab, or even suggesting the best places to visit in Beijing.
