Very quiet alley as nearly all of the vehicles are electric. The staff at the hotel are lovely and very helpful. The manger, Henry, is fantastic, speaks good English and is happy to arrange tours and give you advice on what to see and when to go. We stayed a week and felt like locals as everyone recognised us and said hello or stopped to have a chat, even though the communication was a bit difficult. But a smile and a laugh helps with that. The BBQ restaurant across the alley is brilliant with great quality, tasty food with a variety of beer that is all very cheap. Not far away is a street with plenty of other restaurants and Henry can steer you to the best Peking Duck in Beijing. Our first choice if we visit Beijing again.

The room was very nice and the staff were so kind which made the whole stay. They can speak very good English and give very good advice when it comes to food and things to do! The hotel is in a very good area for restaurants close by and metro around the town.

It was crispy clean. Kitchen at B1 had coffee machine, pots and pans etc. The stove was easy to use compared to other stoves I had to work with in some other rental apart hotels in China. There is a farmers market in 5 min walk which sells everything we need. Subway station is within 5 min walk. Traveling with a toddler, so I need good kitchen, washing machine and fresh produce available in a walking distance. This hotel was it. Also the neighborhood is quiet.

I booked this hotel last minute- I came in and was greeted by the nicest, kindest receptionists! There was always one staff member who spoke English and even when one of them did not speak great English, she still communicated efficiently with me using translation apps. Every single staff member was so kind and one even helped me carry bags to my room. They truly went above and beyond and were spectacular. Despite my last minute booking, they upgraded my room to a larger room with a terrace and tea nook. I was blown away at how clean, new, and comfortable this hotel was. It was safe, quiet, and lovely. The bathroom was so clean, updated, and everything smelled like green tea as that is the scent of their soaps. The location is also great as it is situated right in the middle of a well known hutuong. I'd highly recommend this hotel if you'll be in Beijing!

This is a Beijing hotel Inwould certainly reccommend. It’s in an interesting neighborhood, the Hutongs. One of the old and authentic area’s. Outside of the fancy and noisy city. The hotel has a beautiful inside courtyard where they play shadow art a few times per week. It’s so nice to experience this.
