A small piece of heaven in Getsemani that opened three months ago. So everything is new, fresh, and clean. Comfortable beds, friendly staff that are very service minded! They even had a smart TV, so we relaxed with some Netflix, which was super lovely since my sister doesn't understand Spanish TV. A relaxed place to stay but still in the heart of the charming neighborhood of Getsemani! Also, recommend dining at Celele & El Beso if you want more fine dining.

I only share reviews when they are above excellence. Hotel Canabal met & exceeded our expectations in every aspect of a 5 star hotel. The staff was amazing, professional, kind. Location was great. Breakfast was delicious! And Alfonzo, the dining room manager provided us with amazing hospitality and customer service. Also special thanks to Brenda at Concierge, their bartender anc Irina in housekeeping. we will definitely stay w/ them again when we return to Cartagena.

This was an adorable hotel. The room was suprisingly quiet considering the location on one of the busiest party streets in Getsemani. I could easily walk to any number of great restaurants. The gracious hosts also provided me with drinking water. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.

Del Mar Guest House is located in the historic barrio of Getsemani. With wonderful views of the bay and close proximity to many local attractions. The rooftop pool is a plus with scenic views of La Popa Convent. Emiliano the security at night is very attentive and he makes sure that all his guests are safe when arriving or leaving the building. I enjoyed my stay at Del Mar Guest House is will be back again.

We loved staying at Patio de Getsemani for our first time in Cartagena! Leo and Esperanza were such lovely hosts - they stayed up late for us after we arrived from the airport quite late, they gave us lots of tips and advice, and provided a really lovely breakfast. They were so welcoming and were very friendly and warm despite our poor spanish language skills. We loved the area - very interesting and fun streets, including lots of nice cafes and restaurants, the Sunday morning local baseball game, and it felt very safe. It was a nice walk to the centre of town too. The room was also very comfortable - the aircon was a blessing given the heat and humidity, the bed very comfortable, and the shower refreshing (no hot water necessary).
