The location is perfect - a short walk to many tourist destinations: the City museum, cathedral, City market (Trznica Dolan), and lots of restaurants and shops. The apartment is located a few steps from the statue of St. George slaying the dragon, and a few more steps to the last remaining stone gate (Kamenita vrada, which doubles as a shrine to the Virgin Mary) of the old walled Gradic section of old town. The apartment has an authentic, historical feel with its brick groin vault construction. It is charming, but I wouldn’t call it luxurious. It is nice that it has its own washing machine. A big plus was the exceptionally helpful and enthusiastic manager, Tihana.

Hosts were very welcoming. The apartment was clean and had more amenities that you usually don't find in most places, such as a blender. Separate working space was useful because it allowed me to be specifically focused on the task at hand, without distractions. It's a 5 min walk to the Ilica, which is a big street with parks, stores, bakeries, coffee shops... Even though you only have street parking available, I had no trouble finding a spot within a minute walk from the apartment.

My friend and I had the most wonderful 2 weeks in this apartment. It is very clean, host very communicative, and the instructions easy to follow. The location is perfect - we explored the entire center by foot! Bakery, pharmacy, grocery stores, restaurants and shopping all within minutes. Highly recommended!
