Macando Arte was simply stunning. The apartment, the furnishings, and the common areas and exterior were all gorgeous and well appointed with a modern design, beautiful art and great furnishings. The bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of closet space to unpack. I especially loved the pool - it was so lovely to cool off there after a hot day of walking around. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had to leave at 4:30 am and a staff member was there to help carry our bags down the stairs. The location couldn't be better - close to everything but also on a quiet street. It was close to Llano Parque which was also a chill spot to get snacks and people watch.

We loved absolutely everything about the property, but specially the excellent customer service we received from all the employees we met: Emmauel, Omar, Bruno, Marisol, Malena, Pablo, German, Nati, Lucia, and others (we may have forgotten names). They were all so nice and kind to us. They made our stay so special, and it makes us want to go back!

Lovely accommodation with something happening everyday. Staff are helpful and make the effort to create a social atmosphere. They also offer daily tours to hierve el agua and monte alban for those who do not want the hassle. I stayed in both the single room and the room of 4. The toilet for the single room was not private and feels like it is constantly occupied. Would recommend to do the room of 4 where there is a toilet in the room.

The breakfast menu was amazing. Everyday I ordered a green juice, latte, and Americano coffee plus one of their several delicious entrees. When we came in from a day of sightseeing, we would be offered a drink, which was always a natural juice or water. Our room was cleaned daily and absolutely immaculate. The staff was the most friendly and helpful staff I have ever encountered. The facilities are artful and peaceful. Have Noemi tell you the story behind the casa and the artist who owns it. Casa Carmen Morelos is close to the Zocalo or city square, but far enough away to not feel noisy. There are many lovely shops and restaurants within a 10 minute walk.

We loved everything about this place. It was elegant and comfortable. The location is perfect. The well stocked common kitchen was a huge bonus and made all the difference. We are looking into returning for an extended stay.
