We came to Washington with a night train (from Orlando) and arrived before the usual check in. We wanted to drop the luggage at the hotel and then go find some breakfast. We had the wonderful suprise that our room was ready and we could already checked in. That set a really good mood to our whole visit to Washington. The location is great, the room is nice, having the pool is also wonderful even though the water seemed cold.

The room was super spacious, which is something we rarely say about a hotel room and very much appreciate when traveling with our two daughters. It was also spotless clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff is SUPER friendly especially the staff at the reception (thank you Eskedar for everything!), and the restaurant staff (thank you MJ!). The restaurant attached to the hotel is a very good choice for breakfast, although we mostly went out to local restaurants for most of our stay.

I’ve stayed at St Gregory before and I must say it’s always a pleasant stay. Marcel at the front desk who remembered me by name was outstanding, he gave great service and was extremely accommodating during my stay. They were extremely flexible and I was able to check in early. There’s a gym on site and the restaurant serves great drinks and food

I loved everything about The Ven, especially the staff! I initially booked a three-night stay but ended up extending it to two weeks. The location is perfect, nestled among beautiful embassy buildings and just a five-minute walk from the Dupont Circle metro station. Front Office Manager Julie was incredible—she truly made me feel at home and well cared for. Jin and Ryan at the front desk were also exceptionally helpful. Having stayed at hotels around the world, I can confidently say I have never encountered such a friendly and welcoming staff. My room was fantastic—spotlessly clean, with a lovely street view. The Ven truly became my home away from home, and I will always stay there whenever I visit DC!
