Everything was perfect and we loved our stay at Five Star Westlake. The spacious room / small apartment has everything you need and is a big plus when traveling for an extended period of time. We really appreciated the washing machine and the filter system for the tap water. The staff is amazing and super helpful. The variety of vegan options at the breakfast buffet was a highlight - I want to give a special thanks to Tina who went above and beyond to help us everyday at breakfast.

The room was exactly as described and depicted by the pictures. That's why I didn't bother to take any of my own to post here. Staff and security were very friendly, helpful and nice. They helped arrange taxi pick up from airport, restaurant reservations, et al. It's everything you would expect from a property.

I liked everything! the building is welcoming and well decorated and well maintained. The staff is great, friendly, helpful, and speak English well. The view from the room to the lake is amazing and everything thing works. Several TV channels to choose from, beds are comfortable, and several nice amenities are available. The room also had a fridge, and a full equipped kitchenette in case we needed to cook meals for us or our children. The indoor pool is the star with a great view to the West Lake and with the perfect temperature. The breakfast is also great, a lot to choose from and quality ingredients. The outdoor space outside the hotel is very nice with a lake and a nice playground for the kids. Finally, the location is great, near many nice restaurants and near a small nice Vietnamese neighborhood where we can watch the locals do exercise and spend time with their kids. Really nice vibes. From now on, this will be my choice to stay everytime I need to stay a few nights in Hanoi.

Staff were polite & courteous. The room was so big and beautifully designed. Great quality furniture, bathrooms. Truly exceeded my expectation and great value for money. Its a shame that we only stayed one night there. I would love to go back and stay again. Provided taxi pick-up for a fee from the airport. Lake view/walkway opposite the hotel. Good coffee and restaurants nearby. We stayed at Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh hotels and by long distance this hotel was the standout of our trip. Truly reflected on what was advertised.
