Comfortable beds and exceptional service. Special thanks to Jack Xie who helped us recover a lost phone from a taxi the same day. Full review: We stayed here for 8 days and loved the location. It is right in the middle of the Beijing Hutongs with everything close by and easy to reach by taxi. The room was clean, well-kept and surrounded by countless small restaurants. The neighborhood is very quiet and there are no noises from outside, which makes it easy to rest. There are also several convenience stores and mini-markets nearby with fresh fruit and drinks, which you can store in the fridge in your room. If you do not feel like going out to eat, you can order through a delivery app. Your food will be brought directly to your door by a delivery robot or can be picked up at the reception’s delivery room. The reception staff speak limited English but are extremely service-minded and skilled at using translation apps. You can contact them via WeChat and all communication is automatically translated. A special thanks to Jack Xie for his outstanding service. Our daughter forgot her phone in a Didi taxi and with help from Didi customer service we got the driver’s number. Jack handled all communication in Chinese and the driver personally returned the phone to us later that evening. The gentlemen in black at the door are also incredibly friendly, always helpful and greet you every day with a warm smile and “good day.” The rooms are spacious and the beds are wonderfully comfortable.

The place is fantastic. You just walk into the hotel and the staff greets you with a smile and already see what they can do to help you. Given that it was very hot when I arrived, they immediately gave me a cold water bottle which was very nice of them. I would say the whole stay was made great just by the staff and I need to send kudos to Candace and Jejinn (I apologize for not writing down your name :( ). They helped me with everything: coordinated the carrying of my luggage to the room on arrival and departure, helped me order a power bank (which was insane that it arrived in 1h after the order !!!!), food, bubble tea ( on the day with military rehearsals), postcards. Anything you needed, you could just go to the staff and ask. Also via WhatsApp. The breakfast selection is good (everyone gets the same plate with usually scrambled eggs, corn, salad, some Chinese dumpling, a slice of orange, 3 pieces of toasted bread, and some fruit). Also there is jam, butter and as for drinks at any point there is tea cofee and water. Definitely will stay again here ;)

absolutely loved staying here! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. The dinners were exceptional—every dish was delicious. They even taught us how to make dumplings and kindly offered us a complimentary lift to the Great Wall. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and would definitely come back!
