Beyond and above, we had an amazing stay. The staff was so kind and helpful. Great breakfast with lots of options! We just loved it! The room was nice and big, good bath and great view onto the mountains.

Fabulous location. Wonderful older building so comfortable and inviting. It was the last 2 days of 18 day UK trip from US Had 2 dinners which were excellent. Well stocked bar.

The facility, staff, location and general atmosphere were excellent. We stayed two days and had many lovely walks that we started right at the Inn. We enjoyed the front lounge with fire and the pub/restaurant were two different rooms. So.. lots of places to "be" when out of your room.

This 17th-century Elizabethan inn has a peaceful location in the Troutbeck Valley, with weaving footpaths that link the nearby ancient hamlets.
