The staff was friendly and helpful. For one reason or another, a staff member paid for a local service via bank transfer and I repaid them in cash the next day. You don’t get that kind of trust everywhere.

Very clean and had everything we needed. Was a pleasant surprise to find milk in fridge and a few breakfast items for the first morning. Very convenient to airport and city transportation is also close by.

The overall service was brilliant, just staying there felt great. Katie was very helpful, always smiling, nothing was too much trouble. Nice to see the room had a large comfortable bed. Breakfast which came with the room was very tasty.

It was good but recommend the English breakfast, waffles a bit disappointing as was the porridge, but w’nice environment, on the whole good. Rooms lovely, staff lovely, dinner wonderful!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by one of the hosts, Stephen, who made us feel instantly welcome. Stephen gave us a little tour of the manor and informed us that we were actually the very first guests, having booked on their opening weekend. The manor itself is beautifully maintained, showcasing a blend of historic character. Our room was tastefully decorated. The comfortable beds and well-appointed en-suite bathroom added to the overall sense of comfort. Little touches made all the difference to our stay, such as their honesty larder located in the hallway. The larder contained cold drinks, crisps, chocolate, extra milk if needed — and even ice. Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining area with a true manor feel. Options included a traditional English breakfast as well as lighter choices. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and it was a perfect way to start our day. The location of the manor is ideal for walking trails, many of which start right from the doorstep of the B&B. Popular routes include the Kinder Scout plateau and the Sett Valley Trail, both just a short drive away. Overall, Park Hall Manor B&B is a hidden gem. Stephen and Chris truly made every effort to ensure our stay was memorable and comfortable, making this B&B a highly recommended choice for anyone visiting the region. Being their first guests added a delightful touch to our experience, and we look forward to visiting again and seeing how they continue to grow and thrive in their new venture.
