Hospitality and kindness ! The location is great, the breakfast was excellent but most of all you can feel how kind are Paul and David. We had a lovely stay, our room (for 3) was calm and comfy. Our unique regret is that we didn't spend one more night at Strathardle lodge. We'll come back.

The house is extremely beautiful and equiped with everything needed for a relaxed stay as well as pefectly situated for trips into the Cairngorms. We wanted for nothing. Tim is a wonderful host and very easy to reach. He even provided some fruits, teas, coffee, milk, orange juice, bread and butter to get us started - and on top a prosecco as a wellcome drink... Thank you again Tim for your care and hospitality! The Coach House is to be highly recommended.

The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The bedroom and its facilties were great. One of us enjoyed the dinner and breakfast (see below). The welcome pack for the dog was much appreciated. The gardens and walks are lovely.

A little down at heel but quaintly so. The staff were so kind and attentive including giving us a fun whisky masterclass. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel. We were not expecting haute cuisine so dinner was just fine and the menu prices most reasonable. All in all good value for money. Lots of lovely walks in the surrounding countryside.

We were happy we could also just eat at the bar and didn’t need to do the full course meal as we were not that hungry. Excellent breakfast and room was decorated nicely. They even had an antique bar billiard table in the bar lounge which was fun.

Breakfast had a wide choice and was delicious. Likewise with dinner. Really helpful when my daughter and 3 small children joined us for the day and stayed for dinner .
