Beautiful hotel and location. Cozy rooms with all the amenities. A beautiful deep porcelain tub to soak after a long day. Food in the restaurant was wonderful. You didn’t leave hungry ! Staff was amazing and attentive. Took our luggage to our room and personally checked us in and made sure we were comfortable. Beautiful gardens. Perfect for a getaway or special occasion. We were traveling and found it a relaxing break on our road trip.

The cottage was spotless, the owner went the extra mile in catering for the needs of their customers. The goodies provided we're a lovely surprise. The cottage is situated in a good location with a bus stop just outside the front door, plenty of lovely walks near & far.

    Great location, the food at breakfast was delicious, the house is stunning, beautiful period features and decorated sympathetically. There is a short walk into Matlock, steep hill coming back though. Very easy drive through to Bakewell. We really enjoyed our stay, the bed was enormous and had good quality bed linen and towels.
