Exceptional self check in service. A welcome message was sent which outlined all the best places to eat, walk and visit. The mood of the room when we walked in was really relaxing. The additional prosecco, chocolates and balloons was a perfect touch for my partners birthday. We've stayed in a few of the high end hotels in bowness and none of them had the personal touch or feel that this place did. Thank you, we will be returning.

The owner was really welcoming and friendly and full of helpful advice on how to get to pubs/ walks etc and she always made time. We were in room 3 with a quirky bathroom in what I think was the extension. The room was always warm and welcoming when we woke up or returned. Bed was lovely and comfy and you could see the lake from the window. We accidentally dropped on this place but we're really rewarded. Great location mins from either Bowness and Windermere. Surprisingly easy to park. Internet connection was fast.

Breakfast was lovely. Delivered to my door in a picnic hamper. Lots of lovely details. Homemade jam! Little duck imprint on the toast. Enjoyed it looking out of my window in the rocking chair overlooking the beautiful garden.

The room was stunning, I couldn’t have asked for anything better and I had the best night sleep. The guest house is very safe and secure, which made me feel 10x more comfortable on my first solo trip. The cottage is in a great location. The host is very kind, friendly and helpful. It’s great it comes with a kitchen I can prepare my lunch box. I’ll definitely recommend friend to come and plan to come again.

This was one of our favorite stops on our recent trip. We all agreed, the beds were comfortable, the showers were hot, and the rest of the amenities were great. Elliott was a great host - giving us some advice about our next stop. Breakfast was delicious. With a pub within walking distance we couldn't ask for a better location.
