Hisayo-san is the best host you can ask for. Kind and extremely helpful. She even picked me up from the station and helped with the luggage. There's an Onsen two stops away and the airport is also just two stops. Super convenient for me before my flight. Very nice house. The futon was super comfy.

This is by far the best hotel experience I have ever had! The rooms are lovely and comfortable in their simplicity, and the facilities and staff are outstanding. Really enjoyed the provided breakfast as well - and when I had an early flight on my last day, the staff provided me with a breakfast to-go bag, coffee, and a sweet handwritten note. Best ever hostel in my opinion. Imagine you came to a strange city, and you are welcomed by a warm family in their house. The house have everything and more than just you basically needed it.

The host was friendly and thoughtful in welcoming me and making sure I knew where everything was (including the cutest snacks!), then let me have space to myself. The location was just minutes on foot from Shin-Nakano station on the Marunouchi line, and there were a number of affordable restaurants, convenience stores, etc., nearby. The guest floor was carefully designed and well maintained, the beds and sofas were comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom spotless and well stocked, and the neighborhood quiet. I had a relaxing visit, which is exactly what I wanted. But someone who wants more activity can easily get to Shinjuku, Tokyo, and/or Yokohama/Kamakura in one direction, or to Kichijoji and/or Mount Takao in the other.
