Hotels That Guests Love in Kandy
  • Pringi is the best! We absolutely fell in love with her, her family and her cooking. The tea is served before you can even ask and the shower is atleast as hot as the tea!! We extended our stay at the Peppermint; on the third day we could borrow bikes to see the nearby -read all around- jungle and peddle to Kandy. On departure we received usefull travel information (to Adamspeak) and she arranged a threewheeler for us. Everyone who we meet and is heading to Kandy we recommend booking at this lovely guesthouse 10/10.

  • Jam is a great host. He creates a friendly and comfortable atmosphere that makes you feel at home. He also provides a lot of information and usefull hints. We highly recommend this guest house as he made our three day stay in Kandy unforgettable.

  • The two brothers who own and manage the guesthouse are the friendliest people we met in Sri Lanka, and went out of their way to help us, particularly when I was ill. They also gave us an upgrade to a room with an amazing view (including monkeys in the morning) and gave us a tour of Kandy that I highly recommend. Breakfast (fried eggs!) was also great!

  • The guest house is up a hillside giving a good view over a Kandy. We had the top room which was spacious and comfortable. The guys who ran the place were very helpful - they couldn't do enough for us. The guest house is budget and very good value for money.

  • This guesthouse has the most fabulous view from an upstairs terrace, where we sat and had drinks as the lights of Kandy appeared. We overnighted there but could have stayed longer. Tehan and his father were so accommodating and helpful. The breakfast and evening meal were wonderful. After being unsuccessful in arranging train tickets to Kandy, They arranged a driver to take us to Nonuoya where we caught the train to Ella. The place is high up and a short 300'tuktuk ride from the centre -out of the noise and smog.
