Staff was really nice. Location was easy to catch.

The room was incredibly spotless, and the bedding was clean and white, which is very important to me when staying in hotels. The towels were clean and there were plenty of them. I stayed there alone in a double room for one night. If you plan to stay only briefly and do not intend to spend all your time in the hotel, using it just for an overnight stay, this is an extremely convenient place. It is literally a 5-minute walk to the tram, and all the necessary interesting spots are nearby. The only thing that was slightly less pleasant for me was that the gates faced the train station, meaning the tram tracks were close by, so it could be a bit noisy when trains or trams passed. However, I didn’t notice this because I arrived very late, and at night the trains/trams were running infrequently. Overall, I can highly recommend this hotel and the room if you are planning a short trip.

The hotel’s location was very good. It’s centrally located, but the area is also known for its nightclubs. Traveling with a child can be a bit challenging, so you need to be prepared for that. I went with my daughter without knowing this in advance. We didn’t encounter anything too inappropriate, but there were moments when some explanations were necessary 🙂 The hotel staff were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was sufficient. Having a staff member who spoke our language was an extra plus for us 🙂 Since it’s a hostel and close to nightclubs, I was worried about noise on the first day, but we weren’t disturbed at all. From now on, I’ll definitely look for AO in the cities I visit 🙂

Breakfast is good,considering the hotel status and I was very happy with that. Of course it was not like a 5 start hotel but better than my expectation. The bed was also very comfort and room very cozy with good view.

Everything was great during our stay at Novotel Hamburg. The room was very spacious and clean, offering plenty of comfort. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Slept like a log! Silent! Clean! Fresh! Well equipped room. Nicely decorated. Effectieve climate control. Many tv channels and several in English. Casting built in. Reception staff super nice! Short walk to the central station and close enough to explore most of Hamburg by foot.
