Takako-san and her team were friendly, approachable and absolutely hospitable hosts; can see they’re genuine people who want their guests to have a pleasant stay, such as allowing flexibility for earlier check ins. Convenient location, accessible by tram (Chinatown station), not far to the main tourist destinations, and walkable from Nagasaki station (~15 mins). Room was clean and well-maintained overall. Washing machine and dryer are available to use at a reasonable price. Instructions for usage are clear and easy to follow. The reception / working area offers good views of Dejima and the Nakashima River. I particularly liked their self serve filtered coffee, it’s a nice unique perk that not many guest houses offer.

Very clean and cute place with kind and welcoming hosts. It's within a nice walking distance to the city, which I really loved. I stayed for 3 nights in a tatami room. The guesthouse itself was great. Just a heads-up for light sleepers—the walls are very thin. My first night was good: very peaceful and quiet. The second night had a bit of noise but was still okay. Unfortunately, the third night was rough. The guests in the next room were walking around, talking, and moving things past midnight, then woke up early around 5–6 AM, opening and closing door. I just wish all guests would be more mindful and respect the quiet hours so everyone can enjoy their stay.

Stylish interior, great location, and the friendliest staff/owners. The breakfast (which can be bought in the cafè below the hostel) is superb. Would love to stay again.
